Bicipoda is a bicycle parking system with a design that facilitates safe parking of the bicycle at the front part. Zinc plated steel sheet element easy installation directly on pavement.
According to the author, “the name Bicipoda has no meaning, but simply refers to a bicycle base or stand. The product, like almost all my products, was self-commissioned. The idea was to create a bicycle stand in which the bike could be closed with a single lock. As with most of my products, it had a research side and an invention side, in an attempt to create a product that doesn’t exist in the market. In summary, it is so simple that there is not much else to say”.
It is made from machined, zinc plated and coated steel sheet with a thickness of between 5 mm and 8 mm. The modules are installed by anchoring them to any type of paving with four screws and Fischer SXR 10x80 FUS plugs.
