The intervention in the urban furniture of Terminal 4 at Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport redefines the airport transit experience from a contemporary perspective, where design, functionality, and comfort converge in a coherent and elegant language.
The project articulates a new spatial identity through furniture elements that engage in dialogue with the terminal’s iconic architecture, respecting its character while enhancing its legibility.
The refurbishment introduces versatile and ergonomic solutions that optimize passenger flow, encourage dwell time, and create moments of pause within an environment defined by constant movement.
