Bio
Founded in 1987 by Andreu Arriola and Carmen Fiol, Arriola & Fiol Arquitectes specializes in architecture, urban planning, and landscape design with a sustainable approach. Both architects, trained at ETSAB and Columbia University, contributed to Barcelona’s urban transformation for the 1992 Olympic Games. Their work has received international recognition, including the Prince of Wales Prize and the International Urban Landscape Award. The studio is known for its sensitivity to public space and its ability to integrate history, culture, and the environment. Notable projects include the Central Park of Nou Barris, Fossar de les Moreres, and the Music Museum of Catalonia.
