GAE BENEDITO

Architect from UPC, with studies in Humanities at UPF and a PhD from the University of Southampton. She has participated in teaching, research, and cultural organization projects, and has played a prominent role in promoting industrial design, with a particular sensitivity toward the environment and its relationship with the landscape. After collaborating with various architecture studios, since 2004 she has been responsible for the advanced projects area and the trends observatory at Benedito Design, a firm founded in 1973 and specialized in product design. There, she develops industrial design projects, urban furniture, lighting, and microarchitecture.
