MIGUEL MILÁ + GONZALO MILÁ

Gonzalo Milà is an industrial designer trained at Elisava in Barcelona. He began his career working in various industrial design studios and developing products for companies in the urban furniture sector. He currently runs his own studio, designing urban elements, furniture, accessories, and lighting products for some of the most renowned companies in Spain. His work has been recognized with several ADI-FAD selections, a Corian Award, two Silver Delta Awards (ADI-FAD), and the AEPD Award. He has taught industrial design at Elisava, Eina, and ETSAB.
Miguel Milà was a highly influential Catalan industrial and interior designer with international recognition. He began his career at the Correa-Milà studio and later founded his own company, TRAMO, where he produced his first iconic designs. Together with his brothers Leopoldo and Alfonso, he designed furniture and lighting for the company Polinax. A key figure in the emergence of Spanish industrial design since the 1960s, his work has been featured in numerous retrospectives and has received awards such as the National Design Award, the ADI-FAD Golden Delta, and the Compasso d’Oro Internazionale.
Both have collaborated on the design of unique pieces for Escofet.
