FAD Award for El Prat Seafront Promenade

The recovery of the natural landscape at the Seafront Promenade of Prat de Llobregat, a work of Jansana - De La Villa - De Paauw Architects, has been awarded with a FAD City and Landscape Prize during the FAD Architecture 2019 Awards Ceremony. 

According to the jury, it is a "subtle intervention that manages to combine the will to preserve and to improve fragile natural spaces that are in a degradation process." The project includes internal routes, recreational uses and educational areas, incorporating Escofet’s furnishings for the use, enjoyment and appreciation of citizenship: Rural fountains, Socrates benches, Pedreta bins and Kanya luminaires.
