Diana Balmori founded Balmori Associates in 1990, known for its sustainable approach to urban and landscape design. In 2006, she launched BAL/LAB to explore new intersections between architecture, art, and engineering. She advised institutions like Dumbarton Oaks, the University of Virginia, and the U.S. Commission of Fine Arts. Internationally recognized, she received awards from Fast Company and Architectural Digest. For Escofet, she designed the Mirador, Triana and Guadalquivir benches for the urban setting of Torre Sevilla.
