GEMMA BERNAL

Gemma Bernal, an industrial designer born in Barcelona in 1949, began her career in 1968 after graduating from EINA. She founded her first design team with Beth Galí and Ramón Isern, collaborating for over 25 years and creating award-winning pieces like the telephone shower and the Ona tableware. In 1998, she established her own studio, working with renowned brands. She has taught at Elisava, Eina, ESDI, and CEU. Her approach blends functionality, simplicity, and sensitivity, earning her awards such as the Delta de Oro, Red Dot, and A’ Design Award.
