Josep Lluscà and Ramon Benedito are two key figures in industrial design, with parallel careers both nationally and internationally. Early in their careers, they collaborated with Escofet to design some of the first concrete urban furniture elements on the market, including the Modular bench, the Duna Talud planter, the BS1 bench, and the FC1 fountain.
Josep Lluscà, trained at Eina School in Barcelona—where he later taught and served on the Governing Council—has led his own studio for decades, working across diverse sectors such as lighting, furniture, packaging, appliances, consumer electronics, sports equipment, and urban furnishings. He has received numerous awards, including the prestigious Delta de Oro.
Ramon Benedito, also an industrial designer, studied at the Escola Industrial and Elisava, where he later taught and held leadership roles. His work focuses on electronic and computing devices, scientific instruments, machinery, lighting, and home equipment. In 1992, he was awarded the National Design Prize and has actively collaborated with various design-related institutions.
