Grasshopper

Its deliberately incomplete shape fills a large space. It closes gently at one end and is transformed into a cosy place in which to hold a conversation. The shape opens up at the other end, inviting us to think of freedom of movement and the lightweight quality of materials.

It is named Grasshopper by analogy to the fragile and flexible grasshoppers. The UHPC-Slimconcrete concrete technology allows the design of lightweight elements, with minimal structural section and great durability, due to its high resistance to compression, bending, impact, and wear. The Grasshopper collection consists of a bench for use as an isolated seating element and a table, which, complemented by the bench, allows the installation of 2-meter table-bench sets. When we combine two groups in opposite positions, we achieve a 4-meter table or bench.

Made from a single piece of UHPC-Slimconcrete reinforced with stainless steel and with an etched waterproofed or soft polished finish, in accordance with the standard Escofet colour chart. Easy to lift and handle with slings, the table is installed by simply resting on the paving but it is advisable to anchor the benches to the paving. Requires no maintenance over long lifespan.
