Contemporary review of the old steel and wood benches that emphasizes robustness and formal austerity in its structure.
The oversized cross-section of the steel supports and the timber boards convert this bench into an extremely resistance element, both in appearance and in reality. The great height of the armrests facilitates the act of sitting and standing up for the elderly without diminishing comfort conditions.
The Nomo series is born from the desire to create urban furniture elements with great formal austerity. A single model of metal support with armrests to form the 72 cm chair, the 190 cm bench, and also a 300 cm bench with three supports.
The supports are made of galvanized steel and painted in textured silver color. The seat and backrest are resolved with a single section of FSC® Nordic pine wood planks with a protective autoclave treatment. Anchored with embedded screws to the pavement and fixed with resin, maintaining high resistance to lateral impacts.
