Rural

Designed with the idea of influencing natural open spaces, it was created to illustrate what children discover when playing near a river or a waterfall: that a scoop shape in a stone is the simplest and most natural way to collect water.

Rural is an imposing fountain consisting of a concrete body with an externally pitted finish, a polished upper surface, and an etched basin that imitates the ongoing erosion caused by flowing water, thus featuring all available concrete finishes. It is topped by a curved, large-diameter stainless steel tubular waterspout activated by a button.

Recessed 15 cm below the paving, resting on an “on site” strip footing of 65 x 65 x 45 cm. It requires the installation of a box for the shut-off valve and filter, and a second separate box or siphon drainage system.
