Varso Tower
The Varso Tower project, designed by Foster + Partners, is a 310-meter-high office tower located in the heart of Warsaw, currently the tallest tower in the European Union. The 53-story building rises from a large plaza that extends into the building.
The project boasts a BREEAM Excellent energy rating, according to Polish standards of 2021. The building envelope features a Unitized curtain wall system, executed by Scheldebouw of the Permasteelisa Group. Escofet’s contribution consists of manufacturing the opaque cladding for the façades, with 2,426 UHPC panel units covering a total area of approximately 12,400 m². While GRC cladding was initially considered due to the thinness and lightness of the Stud frame system sheets, Escofet’s UHPC proposal convinced the project’s design team thanks to its high-quality product and construction solution.
