Tiers

The Tiers family, made of UHPC-Slimconcrete, is a beautifully designed, minimal, and elegant collection consisting of a bench (45 cm), table or perch (74 cm), high table (105 cm) and low stool. These elements can be used individually or arranged alongside one another to create different configurations for socializing, relaxing, or working.
It's sophisticated versatility and limitless modularity begin to shine through. First, thanks to the precise spacing between the legs—which double the length of the cantilevered seating surface—all three Tiers elements can be seamlessly joined together, while keeping constant spacing between vertical elements. Secondly, all 3 modules can also be installed side by side.

This feature can double the width of a table or seat, making it possible for two or more people to dine face-to-face, or for two users to sit back-to-back. Thirdly—and perhaps more crucially—the three stepped heights of Tiers offer boundless versatility: a table can be used as a leaning or perching element; a high table can serve as an impromptu meeting point while standing; one can place their feet on a bench while sitting on a table with arms resting on the high table.

Finally, when placed at the ends of the linear elements, the Tiers stool protects the visually impaired from the cantilevered ends of the Tiers bench, table, or high table. It can also be used as an individual seat in lieu of a bench, thus leaving free spaces for wheelchair users—and ensuring compliance with universal accessibility standards.
