The Vado protector is designed to prevent parked vehicles from becoming an obstacle for those who need to enter or exit the parking area.

The protector’s triangular shape adapts to the direction of vehicles during entry and exit manoeuvres in the parking lot.

The Vado triangular protector arises in response to the need expressed by the Barcelona Garage and Parking Guild to improve accessibility conditions for vehicles in parking lots with high customer turnover, typically found in the lower levels or basement of urban buildings.
It was first installed in 1999 and remains in use today.

The design uses the same anchorage system for movement prevention as the bus platforms. The triangular shape of this protector adapts to the vehicle entry and exit directions. Its low height poses no danger to the undercarriage of vehicles parking in front of it. Like the Plataforma BUS platforms, Protector Vado includes horizontal grooves and reflective paint to make them visible in the dark.

Reinforced concrete etched finished, only available in grey granitic. It is installed simply standing on the asphalt pavement with three pins anchor metal rod M12 that prevent lateral movement without having to fix it with resin.
