The Prat table and stool are modular elements designed to function as individual elements and also in different combinations, with unlimited options in terms of aggregation and versatility. Prat Mini complements the original design with the table and stool models for children whose installation can also be isolated or attached to the adult model. The polished concrete finish of the upper plane of the two tables is the ideal material option for intensive use, in view of its resistance and ease of maintenance in outdoor areas.
Originally designed for the urban gardens of El Prat de Llobregat, they were installed in groups of four tables flanked by eight stools. Both models (the Prat table and stool) are the result of playing with the matter and ensuing voids of an original cube measuring 80 x 80 x 80 cm in which the vertical and horizontal planes have the same thickness. The Prat Mini collection is the result of applying homothetic of the original adults model to adapt it for kids. Designed in collaboration with Adrià de Luna.
Its magnificent integration into any landscape or public area gives rise to an invitation to enjoy activities associated with indoor areas outdoors, such as reading, playing board games, eating or simply conversing or resting.
The table and stool assembly are made from moulded concrete, with a etched finish in the Escofet standard chart colours. The upper surface of all models with a polished finish. The Prat table is anchored with two M16 x 140 mm threaded rods and the stool is anchored with three M16 x 140 mm to the paving or continuous foundation slab. Children version with only two threaded anchor rods.
