Roig Arena

Valencia, Spain 2025
Plano general Roig Arena

Roig Arena is emerging as one of Valencia’s most significant new urban hubs. Located in the Quatre Carreres district, this multifunctional venue extends beyond the scale of the building itself to create a new urban environment capable of accommodating large flows of people and fostering collective activity. The project understands public space as an essential infrastructure for connection, gathering and mobility, integrating naturally into the existing urban fabric.

To support this vision, Escofet contributes to the development of the surrounding public realm through a selection of elements designed to meet the functional and spatial requirements of a high-intensity public space. The Piano, Comú, Bollard and Tramet collections help structure circulation routes, organise access points and define areas for gathering and rest, bringing continuity and coherence to the overall project.

The intervention is based on a sober and robust material language, where each element fulfils a specific role within the spatial composition. The combination of paving, mobility solutions, protective elements and seating in different materials responds to the diversity of uses and scales that coexist around the venue. Beyond addressing functional requirements, the intervention creates a shared identity capable of integrating movement, gathering and permanence within a single urban experience. The result is a public space capable of accommodating large numbers of users while maintaining functional clarity, accessibility and urban quality.
