Green wall in the historic city of Tallinn

The pacification project in the historic centre of Tallinn, Estonia, includes the installation of moulded concrete planters, designed by architect Villem Tomiste and inspired by the old city wall and its characteristic crenelated towers.

Placing the planters, directly on the road, renaturalizes the old town and protects the pedestrian area from vehicle access as if it were a modern green wall.
